Philips Working On A 7-Inch MIPS Based Android Tablet

If the latest news on the web to be believed, then the Dutch manufacturers Philips are also planning to check their luck in tablet market, and they already working on their first tablet powered by MIPS processor. The company is planning to launch the tablet first in China, and if it works well, then to extent to other parts of the world. The first tablet from Philips  were showcased during the Linley Tech Mobile Conference.



They are planning to launch a 7-inch Android processor, with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed running on MIPS processor. It seems to be a cheaper one, for budget concerned peoples, while rest of the specifications are still a mystery now.
