Pantech, the South Korean company is pushing themselves into the global market in order to be known as a reputed smartphone maker. They came up with several models in the past and one among them, the Pantech Vega Racer succeeded to some extent as they have sold more than 1 million units so far. Now the company is coming up with the successor of this device, in the form of Pantech Vega Racer 2, and the new device is getting some make over than its previous one.
The Pantech Vega Racer 2 uses a ceramic body for their exterior design, and the company claims that the new material is better and long lasting compared to the regular plastics. Inside this unusual material package, Pantech hides dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 processor clocked at 1.25 GHz, and features LTE support. The screen size of the device is quite large -- 4.8-inch 720p LCD display which makes you to enjoy movies and games in a big screen.
Pantech Vega Racer 2 is planning to make their market debut in later this month, in South Korea. No idea whether the company is planning for a global release or not.
