The tremendous success of the affordable Amazon Kindle Fire have made the manufactures think about budget friendly tablets. If the latest news on the web are to be believed, even Apple is working on a 7-inch/8-inch iPad. This is not the first time the rumors on the smaller 7.85-inch iPad tablet surfacing, but this time it says the device is now under testing stages at their labs in Cupertino.
In The Talk Show, by 5by5, the host John Gruber claimed that 'Apple currently has a 7.85-inch iPad in its labs.' But he is not sure that whether the device will see the retail shelves or not. According to him Apple will possibly debut the smaller iPad in WWDC.
