Samsung Gem, an Android powered smartphone from Samsung is introduced officially in U.S by Alltel. Now the device is hitting US Cellular too. Although the device is in market from January 2011, US Cellular is offering this budget friendly device now only. As we said this Android device is budget friendly, you have to pay only $29.99 (after a $80 mail-in rebate) from your pocket. Even the device seems to be cheap, it got some nice specifications like 3.2-inch capacitive touch screen, Android 2.1, 3.2 megapixel camera, 800 MHz processor, WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, micro card support etc. The device is hitting US Cellular on April 1st.

If the rumors are true, Verizon is getting another 4G LTE smartphone, this time made by Samsung, Samsung Droid Charge. (There is no confirmed details available about the Samsung Droid Charge till now, even the name also whether device will be called Droid Charge or Droid Stealth is still to be clear). ASUS Eee PC T101MT, was launched by the company almost an year ago. Now this convertible tablet is getting an updatr. ASUS is offering the device with 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N570 dual core processor now. Eee PC T101MT was powered by 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 single core processor during the time of its launching. The Optimus Pad from LG is finally going on sale. Verizon Wireless seems to be improving its next generation data network. The network provider announced the availability of Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot. The device will be available for pre order in stores and also on-line from today and it is going to hit the stores from March 31. Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot was already showcased at CES 2011, and with this device, five WiFi enabled devices can access internet via Verizon's LTE network. Verizon is offering this device for $99 on a two-year contract after $50 mail-in rebate. The machine requires atleast $50 monthly data plan with 5GB monthly limit and you have to pay $10 extra for additional 1GB. It seems like that Apple is almost ready for WWDC 2011. For Apple this developer event is really important as the company used this venue last year to announce their fourth generation iPhone -- iPhone 4. Apple promises that the WWDC 2011 will be “a preview of the future of iOS and Mac OS X” from these words, there is no doubt about iOS 5.0 and OS X Lion. But there is no hint about upcoming iPhone 5. Even though Apple provides a software based theme, some rumors over the web makes me think different. HTC's first tablet, the Android powered HTC Flyer is hitting T-Mobile USA too. The Flyer is already announced by Sprint for the US market, Even though there is nothing special in this news, T-Mobile is planning to promote Flyer by rolling out a campaign in YouTube, and here we provide some images from PocketNow which shows the promotion details. So far it was verizon which had this title of largest player in wireless market. The $39 Billion purchase of T-mobile will make AT & T the largest wireless company in US of America. Reports says that the AT & T has signed an agreement with Deutsche Telekom AG  to but into T-mobile in a cash and stock deal. The companies have issued a joint statement on the deal. Board of directors of AT&T and Deutsche Telekom has approved on the acquisition. This is subject to the approvals by the regulatory authority which is expected to take close to one year. As a part of the deal AT& T will pay cash of $25 billion and the remaining cost can be covered by AT&T common stocks. AT & T can raise the cash pay by upto $4.2 billion. Deutsche Telekom will get 8% of the AT& T stock and the company can have a representative in the board.

According to the latest rumors, the hottest Android devices from Motorola may be hitting Sprint very soon. AndroidAndMe reports that the network provider will announce Motorola Atrix and Motorola Xoom as early as in April. Nokia is cooking up a new device in their E series, the all new E6. FCC approved recently a new device from Nokia code named as Nokia RM-609, and this device is none other than unannounced Nokia E6. According to the available  documents from FCC Nokia E6 is expected to be coming with tri-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity (850 / 1700 / 1900 MHz), so it may be hitting either AT&T or T-Mobile USA, as it is compatible with these two networks. Samsung increased its marketing initiative for their forthcoming Galaxy Tab by adding a new video teaser in their unpacked website. Videos for the second version of the tablet is already outed and the latest video as its previous teasers, emphasizes the number “78910” and also shows how the upcoming device will look like. Acer introduced a new device, 24-inch monitor DX241H, a device with PC functionality. The device which is dubbed as a "Web Surf Station" is a combination of a computer and a monitor and offer the users some limited functions of a computer. Acer DX241H is coming with preloaded DLNA-based media player and Google Chrome web browser. It also sports a slide-out QWERTY remote control with which you can control the media and also the web.
