Remember the Series 9 laptops from Samsung which was debuted by the company at CES earlier this year. This ultra thin laptop family is up for sale now. It will be available in U.S starting from today. This 13.3-inch device (1366 x 768) features an edge to edge display.
Best buy and some other selected retailers will start selling the device from today itself. Samsung 9 series notebooks is packed with Windows 7 Home Premium model, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD and 1.4GHz Core i5-2537M processor is available for $1649. Those who want to have an ultra thin Samsung Series 9 laptop powered by Windows 7 Professional will have wait upto next month and have to pay $50 more.
As we said the focusing feature of the device is its ultra-thin design. The device weighs less than 3 pounds and measures 15.9mm thickness. Other features include WiFi, Intel HD graphics, and offers 7 hours of battery juice.
The company is also planning to launch a smaller version of the device with 11-inch display. The 11-inch device is expected to ship with 1.33GHz Core i3 CPU , 2GB RAM, 64GB SSD, Intel GMA HD graphics, Wi-Fi etc, and is available from mid of April. Even the price details not yet announced, we can expect the device to be cheaper than 13.3-inch model.
