Samsung Droid Charge Could Be The Next 4G LTE From Verizon?


If the rumors are true, Verizon is getting another 4G LTE smartphone, this time made by Samsung, Samsung Droid Charge. (There is no confirmed details available about the Samsung Droid Charge till now, even the name also whether device will be called Droid Charge or Droid Stealth is still to be clear). HTC Thunderbolt, Motorola DROID BIONIC, and LG Revolution are the 4G LTE devices offered by verizon, and HTC ThunderBolt was the first 4G LTE smartphone out of the gate by this wireless provider and the launching date of other devices are not yet confirmed, and if the Droid Charge is launched by the mid of April, it will be the second 4G LTE from Verizon.


The device was showcased at CES 2011, but it was known as Samsung SCH-i520 by then.The Samsung Droid Charge is supposed to be hitting stores by the mid of April, with specifications like 4.3" Super AMOLED Plus with 480x800 WVGA resolution, 828MB of internal storage, 8MP autofocus rear camera with 1080p video recording, 1GHz Hummingbird single core processor, 4G Mobile HotSpot functionality for connection sharing with up to eight Wi-Fi devices.1.3MP front camera for video chat, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 4G Mobile HotSpot functionality for connection sharing with up to eight Wi-Fi devices, microSDHC memory card slot, HDMI output, Bluetooth v3.0,new version of Samsung's TouchWiz interface, Android 2.3(not confirmed) Froyo etc.
