ASUS introduced a new family of laptops with some powerful features. The all new K73 series from ASUS sports Huron River-based 2nd generation mobile Intel Core processors and is powered with discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT 500 series graphics with NVIDIA Optimus technology. K73 series is also coming up with ASUS's exclusive IceCool Technology to keep the palm rests cool by placing heat producing components away from users.
Two devices are coming under the company's new family, the K73E and K73SV. Both of them are 17.3-inch devices and got similar specifications except the graphic card options. K73E uses integrated Intel GMA HD graphics where as K73SV is powered with NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M graphics (1GB/2GB).
