ASUS U30S Is Out With Sandy Bridge And NVIDIA GT520M Graphics


ASUS's unlimited series is famous for its long battery life and the apt usage of Intel full voltage CPUs and Nvidia Optimus technology. Here comes one more netbook in this family for the netbook lovers to look at. The latest device in this this family ASUS U30S is powered by Intel's latest Sandy Bridge platform. Even the company is not officially announced the device, folks over NetbookLive got their hands on this unannounced U30S laptop.


The device uses a chasis similar to its previous generation U30JC and sports a nice design with a solid fancy charcoal aluminum exterior. The specifications of the device includes a 13.3-inch glossy LED backlit display with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, Windows 7 Home Premium OS, 8GB of DDR3 memory, 2.3 GHz Core i5-2410M processor, integrated Intel HD Graphics and dedicated Nvidia 520M graphic chips, 500 GB 7200 rpm hard-drive, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi N, 3 x USB 2.0 slots, HDMI, VGA, Gigabit LAN, mic, webcam, card-reader, etc.



ASUS U30S measures around 4.2 pounds of weight and is packed with 8 Cell 5600 mAh 84Wh. No words on pricing and when ASUS is going to announce the device officially.
