After the teasers and rumors ASUS finally goes official with their innovative design, a tablet smartphone combination, the Padfone. Idea behind this hybrid smartphone/tablet is nothing but docking the smartphone in the tablet for a wider view, and charging the phone from the tablet’s bigger battery. ASUS claims that the Padphone avoids the problem of data transfer hassles and requirement of multiple SIM cards, one for smartphone and one for separate use in a user’s 3G tablet, and this one requires a single SIM card for both 10-inch tablet and phone.
The Padfone reduce the eye strain by giving the users an expanded view to any of their needs, and also offers the internet uses the smartphone’s 3G capability to make an Internet connection.
ASUS not yet announced the full specifications of the device, or which version of Android is using the device, and as this is a hybrid device we may expect that this will run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
Anyway we are sure that this is pretty cool to offer you full tablet and smartphone experience that also for a budget friendly price (expect so, ASUS is yet to announce the price details).
