US Cellular officially announced the Windows Phone 7 based HTC HD 7 smartphone. The device will be available from today onwards for $199.99 on contract, after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year agreement and data plan purchase.
The HTC HD7 sports all the specifications of a regular Windows Phone 7 device and is already launched by Sprint as HTC Arrive.
The features side include 1GHz single-core processor, 3.6 inch WVGA display, 16GB of on-board storage space, full QWERTY keyboard,3.5mm headset jack,stereo Bluetooth, Xbox LIVE integration and access to Zune and NetFlix, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, 5MP autofocus camera, etc.
You are also provided an option to upgrade to Windows Phone Mango when this becomes available. If you want to own this windows 7 smartphone from US Cellular you can purchase it from here, or you can wait for the Android powered HTC Desire S II and HTC Wildfire S, as they are going to hit the carrier soon.
