Next Generation iPhone To Have A Dual LED Flash

It is almost confirmed that the next generation iPhone will offer a dual LED flash. If it is true then it will support the plan of Apple to make their iPhone an ideal camera phone. iPhone's last version failed in front of Samsung only in camera performances. iPhone 5 is coming with 8 mega pixel camera, an upgrade from 5 mega pixel one in the fourth generation. The same rumor however was there on the web from last April before the iPhone 4 release.

Anyway the dual flash lets the user to capture brighter images with its extra light and avoids the problems like red-eye, pronounced shadows etc. common with single flash cameras. Nokia, HTC and some other manufactures are already offering dual flash devices.

According to digitimes the dual-LED flashes are manufactured by Everlight Electronics, Edison Opto and Lite-On Technology. It is not confirmed but most likely Edison Opto is the pick, as they are traditional makers of high-power LEDs.

Other rumors available yet includes a dual core A5 processor as in iPad 2, a larger display, 8 mega pixel camera etc. Stay tuned for more spicy rumors.
