Sony today introduced three new notebooks in their Vaio E series. Sony is offering all the three devices for a budget friendly price tag without sacrificing the performance. Sony is using Intel's latest dual core processor to power their E series. Vaio E series of notebooks are coming with some dedicated hardware buttons for specific tasks. These unique buttons includes WEB, VAIO, and ASSIST. The WEB button helps you to connect with internet using a single press. Even before the Windows booting complete, the VAIO button directly launches the media gallery software and finally the ASSIST button, as its name implies will opens a built-in trouble shooting and maintenance program VAIO Care.
The device is available in three different sizes, 14-inch, 15.5-inch and 17.3-inch and is available in seven attractive colors.
Other specifications of the device includes Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor along with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics (1GB) or GeForce GT410M discrete GPU (1GB), Blu-ray burner, 640GB hard drive,up to 8GB DDR3 memory, web camera with face-tracking technology, HDMI, Intel Wireless Display technology,Bluetooth, WiFi etc. There is an integrated number pad in 15.5 and 17.3-inch devices. Sony is also offering AMD E-350 Dual Core Processor with AMD Mobility Radeon HD6130 graphics for their 15.5-inch device.
Sony Vaio E Series notebooks will be available for pre order from June 19, starting from around $550.
