The new version of BlackBerry PlayBook, with the power of 4G LTE is set to hit the market. The latest reports on the web points that RIM will be launching the new version of the tablet on July 31 in Canada.
The new tablet will be coming with a price tag of $550, and offering not only the goodness of 4G LTE, but a powerful 1.5 GHz processor, instead of 1GHz processor. But the 4G LTE PlayBook will only come in a 32 GB of storage version, and there won't be any 16GB or 64GB versions as in original PlayBook.
Rest of the features seems to be unchanged including a 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixel display, 5 MP rear camera, and a 3 MP front facing camera etc. I wonder why RIM is still sticking on the same resolution, as most of the tablet makers are trying to offer much higher resolution displays along with some premium features, that also for a lower price tag.
