Just recently a new device from Acer was spotted at the Expansys website, and was reported to be coming on August 8. And that was the dual SIM capable Acer Liquid Gallant Duo, a new device in their Android Liquid smartphone series. But unfortunately the product page was quickly removed by the British retailer.
But MoDaCo managed to collect some of the specifications and pictures of the device. It will offer 4.3 inch qHD display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, Wi-Fi and the support for MicroSD card. Acer Liquid Gallant Duo will be running on Android 4.0 ICS, and there will be a 1,500 mAh battery to power the show.
The retailers mentioned that the device will be coming with a price tag of £148.99,(€189 or $232 approximately), when it lands the market. May be the device is not ready for an official announcement, but we hope that it will happen soon.
