Archos unveiled their all new affordable Android tablet, named Archos 97 Carbon. The device sports a 9.7-inch IPS display, and its exterior aluminium finish adds a touch of elegance to the tablet.
Android 4.0 ICS used in the device as an OS, on the ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor. The device offers 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage that is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. The 9.7-inch screen offers a resolution of v1024 x 768 pixels, and can decode full 1080p HD videos.
Other features of the device includes Bluetooth, WiFi, HDMI, 2 built-in speakers and USB 2.0 etc. The tablet offers 0.3 mega pixel camera for video chat and 2.0 MP rear camera.
The tablet measures around 0.45-inch and weighs just 21.8 ounces. Pre-loaded Google Play is the other prime features of the device. You will also get some pre-loaded software like Office Suite Viewer.
The Archos 97 Carbon is coming later in this month for $249.99.
