Samsung has already announced their commitment to the upcoming Windows Phone 8 mobile OS from Microsoft, and will be one of the first manufacturers to be presenting the Windows Phone 8 device to market. Now the Apple Vs Samsung war has revealed two new upcoming Windows smartphone from Samsung. The court documents submitted as a part of the case, gives an insight to the the two unannounced Windows 8 devices from Samsung, named as Odyssey and Marco.
The documents reveals some of the specifications of the devices. Both the devices will be coming with the power of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon MSM8960 dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, and will be offering LTE and HSPA connectivity. Samsung has presented the Odyssey as an "Iconic Smartphone". The Odyssey features a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display with HD resolution, 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera. The device also offers support for NFC and also seems to be supporting Microsoft's upcoming Wallet Hub and Tap + Send features in Windows Phone 8.
On the other hand, Samsung Marco will be a 4-inch S-AMOLED device with a WVGA resolution. The device houses 5MP rear and 2MP front cameras.
Both the smartphones seems to be hitting the market by Q4 of 2012.
