Nokia Officially Announced Lumia 620 As The Cheap Windows Phone 8 Device

The Finnish manufacturers introduced their most affordable Windows Phone 8 smartphone device, named Nokia Lumia 620, for those fed up with Android and iOS devices, and for those looking for a better alternative. Like the other Windows Phone 8 devices, Nokia Lumia 620 is also coming in a range of attractive and eye-catching colors including lime green, orange, magenta, yellow, cyan, white and black.



It offers a 3.8" ClearBlack LCD display of WVGA resolution and carries the power of 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Plus processor along with Adreno 305 GPU. Lumia 620 also houses a 512 MB of RAM and an internal storage of 8 GB that can be further expanded with microSD card slot.

The device offers a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and also a VGA front-facing shooter for video-chats. The connectivity options includes Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, GPS, 2G and 3G with HSDPA support etc, but there won't be any LTE connectivity available in the system.

The device also offers access to the Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive, Nokia Transport, Nokia City Lens, as it is coming under Lumia line up. Expected price tag is $249, excluding taxes and subsidies and will be available starting from January 2013 with a debut in Asia followed by Europe and the Middle East.
