Oppo Find 5 Heading To US With 5" 1080p Display, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, For $499

Looks like the Chinese manufacture Oppo is planning to expand their customer base. Currently they are offering their products in their home turf only, but there seems to be a big change as the company is planning to launch their devices in US too. Ahead of that, the company has already set up a US webpage that reveals some details about the carrier for their upcoming device.



Oppo plans to make a big entry into the US market with their upcoming device, Oppo Find 5. The device will be coming with some high end features to impress the US people. Oppo Find 5 offer a huge 5-inch screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, so the FullHD display results in an eye cracking 441 ppi with Gorilla Glass 2 for extra protection on top. Besides a great display, the phone is packed with 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064 processor, 16GB of internal memory, 2GB of RAM and all the standard network and connectivity options including HSPA+, Wi-Fi, DLNA, GPS, NFC. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and will house a 2500 mAh battery.

In US the device will be available unlocked for $499.99. The official US page says that the phone will be compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, and Simple Mobile networks.
More details will be revealed when the company officially announce it on December 12 in the Beijing Launch event.

The device appears to be a better option at $499 when compared to HTC Droid DNA which is priced at $600, off contract.
