Just recently a new device from Panasonic, with a model number Panasonic P-02E, made its appearance over the walls of internet. Thanks to the FCC filing for confirming that the device is real. So it is hitting the shelves soon, but unfortunately it seems like that it won't make its journey to other parts of the world, and will be exclusive for Japan only.

The device will join the phablet family because it has a jumbo 5" screen, and will feature a full HD 1080p display. There will be a 1.5 GHz quad-core APQ8064 QualcommSnapdragon S4 Pro processor to power the device. Other confirmed features includes wireless charging support, LTE and NFC support and also a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
P-02E will be using Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and is coming with a water resistant design. It is set to launch by the end of third quarter of next year. We hope that the company will change their plans, and the device make its way outside Japanese market.
