Sony Xperia Yuga To Be Known As Xperia Z, Coming With IP57 Certification

When the news is from Xperia Blog, it is to be believed. Sony's flagship device for the next year, the oft-rumored C660X Xperia Yuga is getting its official name. The device won't be carrying the tag Yuga in its name, unless it is following the company's regular naming strategy. It will be called Xperia Z. More than that the device will be coming with IP certification for dust and water resistance.

For those who are new to the name Xperia Yuga, it will be Sony's entry device to 1080p fullHD display space, and Sony has  finished the display with its OptiContrast technology that the company has been using extensively in their Television sets to reduce glare. Reports also says that this is not the only mobile device from the company to feature this interesting technology, in fact Sony Xperia V, Tablet S and also Xperia T and TX supposed to be using the same technology.

The Sony Xperia Z said to offer a light weight profile, and measure 139x71 x 7.9 mm, but no idea about the weight.

Sony is expected to debut the device in CES, which is getting closer.
