Google just announced its latest version of Android, Android 2.2 Froyo. Just after that the rumors about the next version is floating around. The rumors indicating that Google is already planning the release of the next generation of Android, codenamed as Gingerbread.
According to WebM the Android Gingerbread will be released by Google in the last quarter of 2010. The latest Android version released by Google is Android 2.2 Froyo, and we can expect the upcoming version may be Android 2.5 or 2.6. But the rumors also indicates that the new version will be Android 3.0?
Anyway we have to wait for offcial details, as there is no other information available about the new Android version.
