Sprint Updated HTC Hero With Android 2.1

Sprint's HTC Hero is getting Android 2.1 update. The carrier today announced its users that they can upgrade their HTC Hero devices to Android 2.1. Along with this update Hero users can also update the latest version of HTC's Sense UI.

You can download the updation from Sprint's support site into a Windows PC and later install the new software via a microSD card or HTC's Sync software. But keep in mind that the new installation will remove all the content from the device in the process. So if you don't want to loose your data perform a back up for all your valuable data before the updation.

Firmware 2.27.651.5 will deliver voice recognition and improved corporate email synchronization along with various bug fixes and OS tweaks
