NEC, which is well known in the display industry with its wide range of display unit announced a new professional LCD monitor, NEC MultiSync PA271W, a 27-inch LCD display with 2560 x 1440 resolution and a 1000:1 contrast ratio with 16:9 aspect ratio.
The display uses a 10-bit p-IPS panel along with 14-bit programmable look up table which makes the reproduction of 1.07 billion colors from a pallet of 4.3 trillion. If you want to get a high color support you have to connect a 10-bit DisplayPort input.
The device offers a 360 cd/m2 of brightness and features a dual DVI and three USB ports. The display covers more than 92% NTSC color gamut.
PA271W will start shipping from this month itself for $1399 and $1649 for SpectraViewII version.
