Sony Ericsson Is Updating Their XPERIA X10, X10 Mini and X1- Mini Pro With Android 2.1


Sony Ericsson is planning to update their XPERIA X10 series with Android 2.1. The devices are using Android 1.6 now and as you know Android 2.1 is launched just recently the company wants their devices to be up to date.


The three handsets in the X10 series, XPERIA X10, X10 Mini and X1- Mini Pro are getting the Android 2.1 updates. The X10 Mini and Mini Pro is getting Android updates only, but the details are indicating that X10 is getting some more updates than the others.


The update includes the Sony Ericsson’s Timescape and Mediascape apps which makes the device 'even smarter and richer' according to company and also the introduction of DLNA wireless home media streaming support which makes the device to improve the performance and usability.


But for all these you have to wait up to the fourth quarter of 2010.
