Nokia Lumia 625 coming to China

Nokia Lumia 625 is to become the latest addition to their Windows 8 line up phones. The device has passed the certification from TENAA (radio communication devices regulator in China). This agency is similar to the FCC in United States. Once the TENAA clears the devices, they are bound to hit the stands very soon.

Lumia 625 is a 4.7 inch device, which happens to be the widest of the WP 8 releases from Nokia. Though the device has a wide screen the resolution of the phone is a kept at a modest 800 x 480 (WVGA) resolution. From this we can assume that the device will belong to low price band phone. The industry sources predict the device to sell at around $325 in China. Other specifications also indicates that the device will not be high end.

Lumia 625 will launch with a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor and 512 MB RAM. There will be a 5 MP camera in the device. Another good feature to be mentioned is the 4G LTE connectivity, which however is not confirmed by any of the sources. The liveside site suggests that the device probably have had cleared FCC in a different code name. So the possibility of the phone entering the US markets any time soon cannot be ruled out.
