Nokia Lumia 625 officially launched


After a few days of leaks online, Nokia Lumia 625 is finally official. The phone features the largest display among Nokia phones till date with 4.7 inch. The resolution of which is 480x800 pixel, a bit of disappointment for  a display as big a 4.7 inches.

The specifications are in line with the previous leaks of the device. Nokia Lumia 625 is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM. The internal storage is 8 GB which can be expanded up to 64 GB using microSD card. The phone runs on Window 8 which is typical with the lumia phones. Other typical characteristic of the Lumia phones, the multiple color choices, are also available with Lumia 625. It is available in orange, yellow, bright green, white and black colors. There is a 5 MP rear camera and a VGA shooter in the front.

A 2,000mAh battery can be found on this device. So in short, there is nothing more than what was rumored in the past about the device. Nokia Lumia 625 offers some of the camera application features found on recently announced Nokia Lumia 1020. This includes Nokia Smart Camera, which removes unwanted objects from pictures, and Nokia Cinemagraph, which turns photos into living memories with added movement

During the launch the Executive vice president, Nokia Smart Devices, Jo Harlow, said "With our largest smartphone screen to date, the Nokia Lumia 625 is a perfect example of how Nokia is delivering leading smartphone innovation and experiences at every price point."

Nokia Lumia 625 is expected to hit the stores in Q3 of 2013. In the beginning the device will be available in China, Europe, Asia Pacific, India, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

Expected price of the phone is around 220 Euros.
