Alcatel Idol X+ get launched in China. The phone comes with an octa-core processor which will be USP of the device. Currently launched in India the phone may make its appearance in other countries as well.
Idol X+ has 5 inch full HD 1080p display. The display is given additional protection using Asahi Dragontrail glass. It is powered by the latest octa-core processor from MediaTek, the MT6592, clocked at 2 GHz. The phone has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. Android 4.2 is the OS, however further updates to 4.3 or 4.4 are not mentioned anywhere.
The rear camera is 13MP. This is an auto focus camera comes paired with an LED flash. The phone is pretty thin, which measures just 7.9mm. The battery is of 2,500 mAH capacity.
Idol X is accompanied by a fitness tacker called BoomBand for the fitness enthusiast. It pairs with an application in the phone to track the fitness activity of the user.
