Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, entry-level 64-bit SoC announced

Now we will see 64-bit processors on smartphones priced around $150. With the launch of this entry level SoC Qualcomm intends to improve the capabilities of mid range smartphone devices. Iphone 5S was the first to feature 64-bit processor among smartphones.
Snapdragon 410 processor comes with Adreno 306 GPU. It allows 1080p video playback and supports camera up to 13 MP. This processor is ideal for phones launched in India because it supports up to 3 SIM cards. Another important feature is the 4G LTE capability.
With Reliance communications Jio infocom launching 4G LTE connectivity across all circles in the country by early January next year, LTE phones are bound to become popular. According to sources Reliance is planning to price 4G cheaper than the existing 3G connection and is 4 times faster too with download rate going up to 100 mbps.
The processor supports Android, Windows and Firefox operating systems. Though the devices with this processor will be tested by the beginning of 2014, the first device will only launch during the second half of 2014.
