We already know that this device is coming. Nokia Lumia 525 is now available in Singapore and Vietnam. The phone is priced SGD 249 which is just US $200 in Singapore. The cost of the phone in Vietnam is around $165.
Nokia Lumia 525 is the successor to Lumia 520 which is the most successful entry level smartphone around. The company had announced the phone last month, so the specifications of it is already known.
Nokia Lumia 525 does not offer much of an upgrade from its previous version. Few people believe that it is just a refresh of its successful model and a true upgrade with larger screen Nokia RM- 977 is in the making. The only evident upgrade in Lumia 525 seems to be the use of 1 GB of RAM that replaces the existing 512 MB. Rest of the specifications appears similar.
The phone, like any other Nokia smartphone runs on Windows 8 operation system. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor. The internal memory is 8 GB and can be expanded upto 64 GB using microSD card. The display is 4 inch wide IPS LCD that offers 480 x 800 pixels resolution. Lumia 525 is available in multiple color options. It comes with black, orange, yellow and white exchangeable shells
