After its appearance in few teasers Samsung Galaxy J makes it official entry into Taiwan. The teasers also made some people believe that it is the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5.
The specifications of Galaxy J is high end and so is the price of the device. The phone is priced 21,900 NTD which is equivalent to US $741.
Galaxy J comes with same 5 inch 1080p Full HD display of Galaxy S4. It is powered by a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor along with 3GB of RAM. The phone offers 32 GB of internal storage memory. The storage can be increased using a microSD card. The rear camera is 12 MP with flash and Optical image stabilization. The battery is of 2,600 mAH capacity. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.
On the design front Samsung Galaxy J has striking similarities with iPhone, especially on the rear. In Taiwan it will be available in White and Red color options. Whether the device will be launched globally is yet to be known.
