Oppo R1 came to news some time during the first week of December. The existence of the product was revealed in photos that appeared on the official page of Oppo on a Chinese social networking site. And further during the course we managed to collect most of the specifications through leaks.
From the beginning itself it was evident that the Oppo R1 will carry moderate mid range specifications unlike the Oppo N1 and Oppo Find 7 which is scheduled to launch in some days. Though moderate the specifications of Oppo R1 is some what impressive. The phone features a 5.0 inch wide IPS display with 720p HD resolution @294ppi It is powered by 1.3 GHz MT6582 processor along with 1GB of RAM. Power VR SGX544 is the GPU. The battery is of 2410mAH capacity.
Oppo R1 offers 16 GB of internal storage memory. The rear camera is 8 MP auto focus with flash, lens aperture is f2.0. The phone weighs 140 g and has dimensions ranging 142.7 x 70.4 x 7.1 mm. Connectivity options includes WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3G. The phone is now available on Oppo China online store for ¥ 2498.00 which is equivalent to US $412.
