Vivo launches World's first Smartphone that features 2560 x 1440p QHD resolution. There were several leaks and rumors of this device in the past. Now that they have taken the wraps off this new device, Vivo Xplay 3S surpasses all the biggies including Samsung in introducing an ultra high pixel smartphone into the market. Samsung Galaxy S5 is rumored to feature QHD display.
Vivo Xplay 3S is powered by a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM.Other features in the phone includes 13 MP front camera, 5 MP rear camera and 32 GB of internal storage. On the connectivity side the phone supports FDD and TDD LTE bands along with other regular connectivity options. The battery in the device is of 3200 mAH capacity and the OS is Android FunTouch OS.
It comes with Texas instruments amplifier and built in DTS surround sound head phone.
The phone will be available in China in the beginning and the global release may follow. Vivo do have plans to sell the phone out of China. Tmall.com will be the first to put the phone on pre-order for 3498 Yuan which is equivalent to $576.
