ZTE R1010 A Stylish Shenzhen Windows Mobile Messaging Passed Through FCC

ZTE R1010, a new stylish Windows Mobile from Shenzhen was spotted at FCC. ZTE R1010 is a sleek and stylish device. It has got a unique design with its 2.5 touch screen and full QWERTY keypad in the front. Other features include 3.2 MP camera, 850/1900 GSM and WCDMA bands II and IV. The form factor is better when compared to other WM devices. It is expected to come to China unicom in the beginning, and no more details are available at this point.

Every one seems to be running behind Nexus One and the rumors around the Nexus One is never ending. Now some videos and high resolution photos are out after the rumors of an apparent January 5th launch. Price is rumored to be around $530 for unlocked and a $180 with subsidized contract with T-Mobile network. SCH-i225 New Model From Samsung Spotted At FCC

The new model SCH-i225 from the mobile giant Samsung was spotted at FCC. However there is not much information available about this new device. The only information available is that it is coming with a Bluetooth.  It is a CDMA/EVDO device and is supposed to be launched in US. We have to wait until an official announcement from Samsung for any further detail.

Foxconn's SZ900, SZ901 Linux Netbook Is Coming With Sylvania Branding

Last week we spotted SZ901P from Foxconn at FCC and now a successor for this model, SZ901 with a SYNET51601X model number and Sylvania brand made its journey through FCC. The appearance of this new device seems little boring. But the major attraction is the FoxOS Linux operating system. From one of the screen shots, the device appears to have a Mac style launcher. There is an unusual menu stuck in the middle of the desktop. Windows XP drivers are provided and also there is a SIM card slot for the 3G access. The netbook is being launched in US and branded as Sylvania netbook.

N220, the latest netbook from the electronic giant Samsung has now popped up with some retailers in France. The device is available in France for a price of €349 or around $500 USD. But only gloss green model is available now. The features of the new Samsung N220 includes 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, 250GB HDD, 1GB RAM, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, three USB ports, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, card reader, webcam, a chiclet keyboard, a trackpad with two buttons, 265 x 188.9 x 26 – 35.6 dimension and weighs1.31kg. Motorola Is Expected To Reveal Two New Android Smartphones At CES

According to Mr.Chowdhry, the Global Equities analyst of Motorola the company is planning to reveal two new handsets at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). It is the world's largest consumer technology trade show which is to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, this January. Motorola may announce an Android based smart phone for AT&T at the show. The device is expected to include features like a physical keyboard, OLED display, and all the standard utilities from Google. From the previous reports we learn that the Motorola Motus will be offered by the network provider AT&T and is coming with spectacular features like a keyboard which remains exposed when the device is closed and can flip backward. The report also suggests that the Motorola will announce an Android smartphone for Verizon. Even though the rumors are on they are not officially confirmed or denied by Motorola. We probably have to wait up to CES to get the details.

P9020 slider, clearly a Pantech device with distinctive design made its appearance in FCC today. This odd looking device with full QWERTY keypad, quad-band GSM with 850 and 1900 WCDMA band supports, has a dimensions of 3.67” x 2.51” x 0.58.” Other features of the device includes 2.8-inch display, email, texting, instant messaging, record and play back of still images and multi media contents. The manual describes several services provided by the AT&T wireless network like AT&T Radio, AT&T’s Navigator with a limited access to web. There is no information available about the price.

The Specifications Of The Rumored Chrome Based Netbook From Google Are Out

The rumors around the new high performance netbook from Google is floating around the web from last month. The tech specifications of this Chrome OS based netbook is out now. Google is planing to release this netbook during the next holiday season by the end of 2010. The company plans to sell the netbooks either directly or with a 3G plan from one or more network operators. World’s First 4G Network Unveiled By TeliaSonera

TeliaSonera unveiled the world's first 4G network for their customers in Oslo, Norway and Stockholm, Sweden. The company claims that their 4G network is 10 times faster than 3G and has a boasting speed up to 100 Mbps. As it is based on the Long Term Evolution it will be available for those mobiles with LTE. Samsung LTE USB card is fine with 4G. The company will offer the 4G network service with reasonable monthly contract (around $0.56) during its service trial period. After the trial period (after 1 July 2010), it will be around $84 per month, with 4G Samsung modem and upto 30 GB of data per month. Users have to purchase the modem only after the trial period as it offers the modem free of cost during the trial period. The company is working hard to spread their 4G networks over 25 largest cities in Sweden and 4 largest cities in Norway in 2010. A new netbook from CLEVO, the Taiwanese PC manufacturer is spotted at FCC. The new netbook named M81P will be having a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600. Google's Nexus One has now become the hottest buzz and everyone including you are also discussing about this upcoming cellphone. To make your pictures more natural Samsung is introducing a new digital camera ST5500 which we spotted at FCC on Saturday. The features of ST5500 includes 14.2 mega pixel, WiFi, 3.5 inch touch screen etc and has an on-board memory of 100 MB. You can extend the memory with the micro SD card slot provided. An interesting feature is that it can share pictures and videos just after taking the snaps. You can send them as e-mails or you can upload the videos to the websites like YouTube. With ST5500 you can take videos upto 1280×720 at 30 FPS and you can output them through USB or component cables. HDMI adapter is not required in ST5500. After discovering new netbooks from Toshiba and Sony  at FCC, we found that LG is also working on their new netbook. A user manual and some photos were spoted at FCC. The upcoming netbook, which LG calls it LG Xnote LG X30, is expected to have Intel Poulsbo platform with Atom Z series processor and GMA 500 graphics. Other specifications includes 11.6-inch display with 1366 x 768 picture resolution, optional Bluetooth, SSD storage, HSPA modem, 802.11n Wi-Fi, webcam with 1.3 mega pixel, and external ports for 2x USB, Card reader, VGA, head phone, LAN, micro phone, and also has a touch touch pad which support multiple gestures. Microsoft Ought To Exit Phone Business?

Microsoft recently tried to spreading their business into other arenas like mobiles, game consoles etc. But the company is now in an attempt to cut losses and drops they encountered in the Windows Mobile and Zune. According to the Strategic News Service analyst and founder Mark Anderson, the lack of fundamental understanding will lead to a heavier flop in the consumer business electronic field and Xbox 360 is an exception from this. The companies like Apple, Google etc is still dominating this industry because they can understand the field better, Anderson added. He explained like "Phones are consumer items, and Microsoft doesn’t have consumer DNA, Walk the halls at Microsoft and you can see it is not a place that gets consumers." Microsoft is in a need of a drastic move and is planning to launch Windows Mobile 7 in the second half of 2010 by adding a multi-touch interface and also taking some of Zune HD's media components thus to address their interface weakness.

FCC approved this unannounced ZTE phone -- ZTE X990. The device has a horizontal oriented display which resembles BlackBerry in its appearance. X990 features a QWERTY keypad, Bluetooth, FM radio, landscape display (QVGA?), MP3 player, web browser, MicroSD card slot, 2MP camera and a 3.5mm headset jack etc. It is probably going to get released in China and as it has only GSM/GPRS connectivity, the price will be really affordable. However there is no information about the price and launching date.

Toshiba's NB300 A Well-Connected Netbook Spotted At FCC

After the success of Toshiba's NB line they are planning to launch a successor for their NB 200 and NB 205 and it seems like the netbook is on its way to hit market. The netbook 'Toshiba NB300' was just spotted on its way to FCC.  . There is not much details available about this netbook. NB 300 is also expected to have a 10.1 inch display like its predecessors. Other features includes the Qualcomm’s Gobi2000 chipset which can give the device more 3G coverage, WCDMA/HSPA, EVDO, EDGE and CDMA2000. GPS too is available in this device. From the images it looks somewhat similar to NB 200 or 205 in appearance. But we can identify some changes in battery and also there is a stereo speaker included in the new device. We have to wait some more time to know what is added in the new device as Toshiba is yet to announce them formally. Onkyo DX Series Dual Display Netbooks With High Resolution Displays

Onkyo seems to have moved just one step ahead of Kohjinsha by revealing their new DX series netbooks having high resolution dual screens. The Onkyo DX1007A5/ DX1007A5B is coming with 10.1 inch display and at first glance they look identical to Kohjinsha DZ range with the same 10.1 inch wide screen. But Onkyo offers high resolution display panels ( with 1366 x 768) when compared to the Kohjinsha (1024 x 600 ). In hardware specifications also Onkyo is little better than Kohjinsha. Onkyo offers 2GB RAM and 320GB HDD while Kohjinsha has got a 1GB RAM and 160 GB HDD. The features of Onkyo includes a 1.3MP webcam, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.7-hour battery Wi-Fi (b/g/n) Windows 7 Home Premium and is powered by a 1.6GHz AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 processor. The device is going to hit the market by the end of december in Japan and carries a price tag of $953 (84,000 Yen, €646, £585).

HP Mini 210 Series On The Way? Caught Over HP's Support Page

HP seems to add a new model to their Mini series. As per the HP's support page HP Mini 210 and 311 series are coming soon. It may not be a revision of their 110 series as it is coming with new a number. The device is also expected to be a consumer oriented one as HP normally offer consumer oriented machines with three digit numbers and business class devices with 4 digits. How ever there are some exceptions to this numbering technics. But there is no information on the date of launch and features or hardware specifications. Whether it is using NVIDIA ION, ION 2 and the screen size is yet to be known. We expect HP to reveal the details in the coming month. Let's wait some more time for all those informations.
