Sony Ericsson is now working hard to make eco-friendly phones, and the company claims to make all accessories 100% Green Heart by the year 2011. In addition the company has announced three new handsets -- Sony Ericsson Elm phone, Sony Ericsson Hazel phone and also the Bluetooth Noise Shield Handsfree VH700 to the company's Green Heart portfolio.
The Sony Ericsson Elm has a 2.2-inch screen and the Hazel phone has a 2.6-inch display and the features includes 5 Mega pixel camera, 3D games, Wi-Fi, Fm tuner, media player and both these phones supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and HSPA 2100/900.
The dominant feature which Sony Ericsson claims about these Green Heart phones is their superior voice quality experience. The phones will provide better voice quality with Noise Shield and has a Clear Voice and Intelligent Volume Adaptation.
Sony Ericsson Hazel, Elm and VH700 are enviormental friendly and also has a reduced Co2 emission. They use recycled plastics, avoid hazardous chemicals for manufacturing, low power consumption charger, green calculator, E-manual in phone, minimized packaging Walk Mate eco application etc. All these makes the phones enviormental friendly.
The Sony Ericsson Hazel arrives in two attractive colors like Passionate Rouge, Superior Black where as Elm will be in Metal Black and Pearly Rose colors. These two phones will be shipped in 2010, Elm in first quarter and the Hazel in second quarter. No words about the price of the devices.
