Google announced the winners of the Android Developers Challenge. The top three applications are SweetDreams, What the Doodle!? and WaveSecure. Winners were selected through a public voting campaign and Google's own way from a list of 200 applications like gaming, utilities, social networking applications etc.
SweetDreams is an application to save the power when a system is not in use. This power management application will automatically switch off the notification sounds and also unused wireless connectivity during the night time, thus leading to an extended battery life.
What the Doodle!? is real time multiplayer gaming application which is similar to pictionary. The players in What the Doodle have to guess a phrase from a doodle drown on an Android device.
And WaveSecure is intented to track your location and keep online records of your data. This provides a remote security, tracking and also data back up. Through GPS you can find, lock or wipe the device.
