Gboard USB Shortcut Keypad - Hardware For Gmail

g-board

Short cut keys are required for obvious reasons to perform particular functions while using emails . Even though Google is providing some keyboard short cuts, learning them is difficult. Now Charlie Mason, a film producer from Venice has developed a keyboard called 'Gboard' for Gmail user.

Gboard has got a 19 colored keypad which is similar to a USB numeric keypad. Press each of these keys to perform the particular task assigned to that key, like starring messages, spamming and trashing them. There are keys to Star a search, reply or reply-all, forward a message, folder navigation and to jump between the threads.

The device is powered with a USB and it does not require any drivers or softwares to run. The only thing you need to do is to enable the keyboard shortcuts within Gmail's settings. Gboard is compatible with Windows and Mac systems.

We can consider Gboard as the first step to the full size version as it can't include all the full (nearly 69) shortcuts provided by the Google.

It is worthy device for hardcore Gmail users and the price is a reasonable $19.99. But the problem is that if the Gmail changes its shortcut keys then it will be rendered useless.
