HP Mini 100e Education Edition Officially Launched

HP launched HP Mini 100e, a rugged designed netbook for kids. The device was showcased at Computex last month and is coming as a competitor for Dell Latitude 2100 series and Intel's classmate series, but unlike these two HP Mini 100e is cheaper and will be available for around $299. ASUS Introduced U35 And U45 Slime Line Notebooks

ASUS is coming up with two new ultraportable notebooks, U35 and U45 powered by Intel Corei3 and i5 processors. The 13.3-inch U35 and 14.1-inch U45 measures just 14.8mm in their thinnest points and got a nice and attractive design. Both of the devices will be available from August 2010. The U35 will be available for $899 where as the U45 will be for $999. The devices are shipping with Asus's Super Hybrid Engine (SHE), which helps to handle the heavy processing loads by intelligently increasing the frequency. The device also features an NVIDIA Optimus technology which automatically switch between dedicated GeForce G310M GPU and integrated Intel GPU for power saving. The devices can power upto 11.5 hours with the help of these Super Hybrid Engine and NVIDIA Optimus technology . Other specifications of the device includes Windows 7, 320GB hard drive and 4GB DDR3 RAM, HD Audio with SRS Premium Sound technology, Altec Lansing speakers etc.

Sony’s second-generation VAIO P which was started pre-order from the staring of this month is set to debute in June 25. But the device has already started its sale one week before the expected launching date. Customers can purchase the device from Sony Style online store. The new generation is coming in some attractive casing along with a new navigation system. The pricing of the device starts from $899.99 which is $100 more than the first generation. PineTrail Powered Lenovo Ideacentre Q150 Started Shipping In U.S

Lenovo started shipping of their Ideacentre Q150 model in U.S. The device started shipping without any official announcement from the company. The Q150 is coming with a choice of two models, one with 160 GB HDD and the other for $250 GB HDD. The 160 GB model is shipping for $220 where as 250 GB HDD is for made available for $350, along with a wireless keyboard and mouse which made a price rise of $130. The optical drive, IR receiver and remote control are not available in the system. Other specifications of the the device include dual core Atom D510 1.66GHz processor, Windows 7 Home Premium, NVIDIA's ION graphics chipset, Intel GMA 3150 graphics, up to 2GB RAM, HDMI, Wi-Fi, VGA, VESA wall mount, 5.1 channel audio via S/PDIF out etc. The device is coming with a dimensions of 20 x 172 x 153 mm and weighs just .76 KG.

Sprint HTC EVO 4G White Is Coming Via Best Buy

Happy news for those who dislike the black version of HTC EVO 4G, Best Buy is coming up with a new attractive model. Yes, the EVO 4G is coming in a white version. The customers those who are really interested in a white one can be able to have it starting from July 11 from Best Buy. The back side of the device is only coming in white, and there is no change in any other part of the device. According to engadget you can pre order the device starting from today via Best Buy. The price tag seems to be similar to the original black edition, $199.99 with a 2-year Sprint contract. EVO 4G will be getting an Android 2.2 Froyo soon, but there is no information on whether the white version is coming with Froyo or not.

Motorola DROID X Appeared In Coming Soon Section Of Verizon's Site

Verizon Wireless finally confirms the launching for Motorola DROID X. A new teaser page appeared in the Verizon's official site, indicating that the new Motorola Droid is 'coming soon'. The Droid X  appeared in the image of Verizon's official website in between Motorola Droid and HTC Droid incredible. Verizon says that the Droid X is coming up with a 4.3 inch display, 720p capable display, HDMI output etc. The rumors leaked already indicates that the device is expected to be coming with 8-megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video recording, a new version of MOTOBLUR, Android 2.1, multitouch keyboard and a boosted camera app. But there is no other official details available till now. AT&T Announced Samsung Captivate Aka Galaxy S A High End Android Smartphone

Finally AT&T is also getting a high-end Android smart phone. The carrier today announced the upcoming availability of Samsung Captivate i897. “Share My Connection” WiFi Router Functionality Is Coming To Sony VAIO Z And Y Series

Data sharing across multiple WiFi devices is now available for laptops and also became a trend now a days. Today Sony announced that “Share My Connection” (SMC) option will be available in their VAIO Z and Y series, and with this option five near by devices can be connected via WiFi. For using this feature the VAIO Y and Z series should have an activated Verizon Wireless WWAN card. A password protection and a unique ID should be there for the other devices to which we are transfering, in order for data protection. Windows Phone 7 Is About To Finish

Great news for those who are waiting for Windows Mobile 7 handsets, making of Windows Phone 7 is about to finish. According to Cnet Microsoft is expected to finish the long awaited Windows Phone 7 with in weeks and the WM phones will be launched in the holiday shopping season. The Windows Phone 7 code will be needed by handset manufactures and carrier for the testing purpose. Terry Myerson , Microsoft vice president said that "They take all the burden of support calls and all the burden of selling it. They want it months ahead of time so they can learn how to sell, learn how to support it." RIM is set to update their App World, a mobile marketplace application of Reserch In Motion. The new updation will be known as App World 2.0 and is coming with some intersting features. HTC Desire Is Hitting U.S In August

HTC Desire, the high end Android smartphone from the Taiwanese company HTC is on its way to U.S. The device will be hitting U.S in August and the carrier is expected to be U.S Cellular, as the HTC said that the device will be offered by some 'selected regional operator' and also U.S Cellular showed its intention to offer Desire in earlier this year. HTC desire is almost similar as Google Nexus One and this non-Google version of the Nexus One is powered by 1GHz processor. Samsung Is Coming Up With 512GB SSD with Toggle-mode DDR

Samsung announced a 512GB SSD, particularly designed for high end notebooks to achieve greater reliability and performance which employs a toggle-mode DDR NAND technology. This all new SSD offering a three times faster speed than the conventional HDDs as the toggle-mode DDR structure coupled with SATA 3.0Gbps interface, to offer a maximum sequential read speed of 250MB/s and read speed to up to 220MB/s. This can copy two 4GB DVDs in under a minute. Samsung also developed a low-power controller for toggle-mode DDR which increases the performance of the devices without increasing the power consumption. The SSD uses a 30nm 32GB chip and is coming with a 256-bit AES encryption and Windows 7 TRIM support. Samsung will start the mass production of this new 512 GB SSD from next month.

They announced today that Xperia X10 , X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro will be getting an Android 2.1 update in the third quarter of this year. The Xperia X10 is also getting a HD video recording capabilty and tweak the on board Timescape and Mediascape apps with added refinements. But the updates will be available in some selceted markets only.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Spotted In Video

Samsung's upcoming Android tablet Samsung Tab appeared for the first time in a video. However there is only few sketchy details available from the video. The device is labeled as Galaxy Tab P1000 and got the 7-inch Super AMOLED display together with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. The device controls seems to be little bit different from the previous leaked device, and it is not clear that whether the device in video is same as leaked device from South Africa last week. The device also seems to have a mobile calling functionality in addition to using its cellular connection for data purposes. Samsung Tablet Will Be Known As Samsung Galaxy Tab Not Samsung Galaxy Tape

The rumors around the Samsung Tablet is still coming out and the latest among them is the device will be known as Samsung Galaxy Tab and not  Samsung Galaxy tape , as rumored earlier. President of Samsung Mobile Division JK Shin confirms this to Dow Jones that their upcoming tablet will be known as Samsung Galaxy Tab. But he is not ready to reveal any other details except the releasing date. Shin said that the new tablet will be released in Q3 of 2010 and will be powered by Android. Sony Ericsson Is Readying 4-Inch Windows Mobile Device 'Julie' ?

Rumors indicate that Sony Ericsson is cooking up with a new device powered by Windows Mobile 7. However there is no official confirmation available. But according to Sony Ericsson forum IT168 ,the device will be known as Julie and will be using the powerful 1GHz processor, sliding QWERTY keyboard, 4 inch screen which supports multi touch, and also the feature Xbox integration. RIM's BlackBerry 9800 Slider Is Coming Soon, Tablet Later In This Year

RIM's BlackBerry Slider 9800 is expected to be available soon. The details already suggest that the device will start shipping before summer, may be in July or August (after the iPhone 4 launching as iPhone 4 start shipping from June 24). The rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S Pro have been floating around the net for a while now, but little was known about the device, even a single picture. The medium sized Sony Ericsson Xperia which appeared in media as Sony Ericsson Shakira will be known as Xperia X8 officially.The device appeared in some official picture releases and seems like it will sit between the small sized Xperia X10 Mini and full sized Xperia X10. Pricing Details Of iPhone 4 Revealed By Vodafone UK

Finally Vodafone UK announced the pricing details for the iPhone 4 in UK. The carrier is coming with a number of plans and the customers can select according to their choice. For getting iPhone 4 16 GB model for free you have to sign up for an 18 month or 24 month contract and have to spend £50/month or £45/month atleast for 18 and 24 months. The cheapest monthly plan of iPhone 4 is for £25/month with a contract of 24 month. And the customers will get 75 minutes talk time and 250 text messages with this plan. AT&T HTC Aria Announced Officially

It seems like the confusion about the name of HTC Aria is over, as AT&T announced its new smartphone HTC Aria officially. HTC Aria which was already leaked several times finally goes official. The device looks more like HTC Droid Incredible but the soft touch rubber back plate and the exposed screws resembles HTC HD mini. 'Aria' is little bit smaller and is pocket sized.
