ASUS is coming up with two new ultraportable notebooks, U35 and U45 powered by Intel Corei3 and i5 processors. The 13.3-inch U35 and 14.1-inch U45 measures just 14.8mm in their thinnest points and got a nice and attractive design.
Both of the devices will be available from August 2010. The U35 will be available for $899 where as the U45 will be for $999.
The devices are shipping with Asus's Super Hybrid Engine (SHE), which helps to handle the heavy processing loads by intelligently increasing the frequency. The device also features an NVIDIA Optimus technology which automatically switch between dedicated GeForce G310M GPU and integrated Intel GPU for power saving. The devices can power upto 11.5 hours with the help of these Super Hybrid Engine and NVIDIA Optimus technology .
Other specifications of the device includes Windows 7, 320GB hard drive and 4GB DDR3 RAM, HD Audio with SRS Premium Sound technology, Altec Lansing speakers etc.
