Sony Ericsson offers Android 2.1 upgrade plans for slew of Xperia X10 models

Android 2.1 Updates Will Be Available In Xperia X10 Models. Sony Ericsson is planning an Android 2.1 update for their Xperia X10 models. They announced today that Xperia X10, X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro will be getting an Android 2.1 update in the third quarter of this year.

The Xperia X10 is also getting a HD video recording capabilty and tweak the on board Timescape and Mediascape apps with added refinements. But the updates will be available in some selceted markets only.
