RIM's BlackBerry 9800 Slider Is Coming Soon, Tablet Later In This Year

RIM's BlackBerry Slider 9800 is expected to be available soon. The details already suggest that the device will start shipping before summer, may be in July or August (after the iPhone 4 launching as iPhone 4 start shipping from June 24). The slider features a 5 mega pixel camera, multi touch support, 802.11n Wi-Fi etc.

But the rumored BlackBerry tablet may not be coming along with BlackBerry Slider 9800 and will be available later in this year. The BlackBerry tablet seems to be a slave device and not just a replacement of netbook like iPad. The device will rely upon BlackBerry's 3G connection to get online and will be suitable for those who need bigger display,and the tablet is expected to be feature 8.9-inch display
