Looking for a perfect tablet within your control for your children? Here comes a child friendly Android tablet, Child Pad from Archos, with some pre-loaded applications for your kids and offers secure parent controls that let you know what your kids can see and what they cannot. The device will be a budget friendly one, and it is going to hit the market by the end of March for $129.
The tablet runs on 1 GHz processor and features 1GB of RAM and Android 4.0 ICS. Unfortunately the details like the storage options, screen resolution are not revealed by the company.
The tablet offers a youth oriented user interface with colored icons and direct access to entertainments, games and for funny puzzles from the home screen itself. As we said earlier, the device offers pre-loaded applications for kids including the Pig Rush, Flight Frenzy and the world famous Angry birds.
Apart from the pre-loaded applications, the tablet also offers Kids App Store powered with the AppsLib Android marketplace, in which users will able to enjoy more than 10,000 applications in gaming, entertainment and also in sports and books.
Even if the device rocks with specifications for children, the design is not so. As it is not following any rugged features to withstand the unexpected throws from the little ones.
