The New iPad Is Official Now, Rocks With iOS 5, Retina Display, A5X Processor And Lot More

Yes, finally the day came, after making its turn in the rumors columns, like every Apple devices, Tim Cook officially announced their new iPad. And Apple have brought too many surprises with device, the naming is also not different, after many speculations on the naming, whether to call iPad3 or iPad HD, Apple astonished the tech world, by calling their new tablet just 'new iPad'


The most anticipated, and probably the most beautiful iPad is coming with almost all specifications as rumored over the past few months, and offers you a new world of tableting experience.


Now let's take a dive into the specifications, starting with the OS, it runs on iOS 5 as expected, and the new version goes on air from today itself, for exciting iDevices. Next comes the display, the tablet sports a Retina display and offers crystal clear visuals. The long-rumored Retina display offers a resolution of 2048×1536, at 264 ppi. The processor is dual core one, along with quad core graphics the new processor A5X offers 4 times faster and better than an Nvidia Tegra 3 device.


The new iPad offers an improved camera, called iSight, than its previous iterations, the 5MP camera on the rear side coming with auto illuminate sensors and 5 -element lenses, along with IR filter offers you auto-exposure, auto-focus camera and can record video in 1080p HD.


One of the other feature of the device is Voice Dictation, apart from the regular keys, Apple adds one more key called microphone, which let's you to make your search by just speaking, and supports almost six languages including US English, British, Australian, French, German and Japanese.


We forgot to tell you the most exciting specification of the device; Apple confirms the support for 4G LTE for their new iPad, that is rumored many time, and I think that it clearly indicates that rumor mill is getting more and more accurate with each year that goes by.


The new version supports 21Mbps HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA at 42Mbps, with LTE radio, at 73Mbps. The device also sports built-in mobile hotspot. There will be dedicated models for both Verizon and AT&T. Network providers like Telus, Rogers, and Bell will offer the device when it hits Canada.


The new iPad offers a battery juice of 10 hours, even with 4G, that is really amazing. Even the digits are really identical to the battery power of iPad 2, but that was with 3G and not with 4G.
