Sharp introduced a new 10.1-inch tablet Sharp RW-T110. Sharp dubbed the device an enterprise oriented one. It is packed up with Texas Instruments’ OMAP 4430 (1GHz) processor and uses Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread to run the system. Using Gingerbread OS in an enterprise tablet can be termed a drawback because almost all upcoming tablet have upgraded to ICS.
Looking into other specifications, the device features 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, microSD card slot, 2MP webcam and GPS. The NFC connectivity is also included in the tablet, which sounds good.
The tablet weighs 1.4 pounds and measures 10.2 x 7.1 x 0.39 in dimensions. Sharp RW-T110 will go on sale by March 27.
