Sony VAIO VCC111 Chromebook Is On The Way, Spotted At FCC,

Sony took a long time to enter into a new venture, but whenever they are introducing a new product, they are coming up with some outstanding ones. Now the reports indicates that they are planning to enter in to Chromebook game also. Eventhough we don't have much confirmed details available about the device, the visit of a new netbook from Sony, to FCC reveals some details.


The new device with code name Sony Vaio VCC111, passed through FCC, giving some details. The device supposed to be coming with a 11.6-inch display, most probably manufactured by Samsung. And if we closely watch the pictures available, it will give some idea about the upcoming device. There is no Windows key in between Alt and Ctrl.


The device seems to be coming with Nvidia power, which will be Nvidia Tegra 2 T25 ARM based processor, and not with Intel. The pictures also indicates that the netbook is not missing any ports, and equipped with all the regular ports including 2x USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, SD card slot for expandable storage, headphone port, microphone port, etc and also offers a very good connectivity with 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, There is also a webcam in the top of the device and also packed up with 4100 mAh battery and SSD.


Anyway let's wait for an official announcement for further details on this first Chromebook from Sony.
