Samsung Galaxy S Advance Visit FCC With AT&T's 3G Support

Samsung's one more addition to their Galaxy series of smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S Advance, is knocking the doors of FCC laboratories. The device which first made its appearance at the start of this year and made its turn on recent MWC finally hits FCC. So the device will appear soon in the market.



Even though Samsung has not officially announced the device in US, it goes official at Germany, and it will be available there starting from this month itself for a price tag of of €494, around $625.


The smartphone will be coming with a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display made of Gorilla Glass with a pixel density of 233ppi, and is powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor along with 768MB of RAM on-board. The phone also sports a 5MP rear camera capturing video in 720p at 30fps, 1.3MP front-facing camera for self-portraits and video chat, TouchWiz 4.0 UI, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, HSPA 14.4Mbps, Bluetooth 3.0 and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. There may be a chance to upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.


It also houses a 2GB of ROM, and 8GB or 16GB of storage space. The device appeared at FCC with AT&T-friendly 3G bands (850 / 1900 MHz), but there is no words from AT&T towards the announcement the device.


So let's wait and see who is going to bring the device first to the market.
