HTC Desire X With Top-Notch Style, Mid-Range Features

HTC Desire X is the latest smartphone to go official from HTC. Remember the HTC Proto spotted recently, the device goes official at IFA, without any special event or any big band. The device was previously known as HTC Proto and turned out as HTC Desire X last week, and now keeps the same name as HTC Desire X, and is a mid range device with some impressive features. The device offer a stylish design, that follows HTC's One series, with swooping curves, soft-touch plastic back cover that is removable, and is almost similar to dual-SIM Desire V. Qualcomm 1Ghz dual-core processor from the Snapdragon plays the main role in the device paired with 768MB of RAM and Android 4.0 ICS.



HTC is bringing the technology from a high end models to an affordable device with the new Desire X. The phone features a 4-inch WVGA Super LCD display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The phone offers 4GB of internal memory, 5MP camera with with backside illuminated sensor, with f/2.0, 28mm wide-angle lens  and the company's own ImageChip and also with some interesting camera features like like fast activation, burst shots, which we regularly found on some on higher end models.


The device offers a 25GB of free storage on Dropbox, but that will be available only if you sign up for the offer before the end of 2013. HTC Desire X houses a 1,650mAh battery, and also features Beats Audio, space for a microSD card and a full-sized SIM etc. The device will be available in black and white colors.


HTC is planning to roll out the device in September in Europe, Africa and Asia, but there is no word on US launch.
