If the rumors are to be believed, LG is all set to hit back in the smartphone industry, and expecting a rebirth of sorts in the smartphone space. The company is setting their next generation smartphones, as a rival for Samsung's Galaxy S III. The company is expected to introduce the device in September with a number of premium features, and will be the company's most powerful smartphone to date.
According to the source Asia Today, the device will be coming with quad core processing power, and the most exciting feature, is the support for Voice over LTE technology. The device will be code named as LG Optimus G (not sure about the official name), will offer a 4.7 inch TrueHD IPS display, 2GB of RAM on-board, quad-core SoC of unknown manufacturer. The device will also offer the latest Optimus UI over the flavors of Android ICS.
We may hope that the device will break its cover at the IFA venue and stay awaited for that.
