Xperia T Officially Announced By Sony

Sony Xperia T, a flagship device from the company that was extensively leaked with a code name Mint, is official now. The device is coming up with some premium specifications and the company CEO Kaz Hirai says "Inspire and fulfill," about the device.



Xperia T features a 4.6-inch HD display and Sony's BRAVIA engineering for a bright and cheerful viewing experience. The display with the WhiteMagic technology will let you to set the brightness of the display to be really high.


There is a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 with Adreno 225 graphics, humming behind the screen. The processor paired with a 1GB of RAM and up to 16GB of on-board storage will give you a faster and efficient computing experience, even though it is quite clear about why Sony is stuck into dual core processor for their flagship device.


On the back side of the device you will find a 13 MP fast capture camera with 16x digital zoom and 1080p HD video recording, "stacked" Exmor RS sensor, that is specifically designed for low-light photography and high dynamic range video, and jumps from sleep-to-snap in an instant. There is also a 720p HD video chat camera.


Other features includes Bluetooth, aGPS.1, HDMI via MHL support, DLNA and a number of sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Magnetometer, Gyroscope. There is no need to tell that the device will be coming with PlayStation Certification.


Xperia T is coming with Android Ice Cream Sandwich pre-loaded, with Sony's TimeScape UI, on the top, but the company promises for a Android 4.1 update, soon in the near future. The most interesting news is that, the device will be the new phone of James Bond in the upcoming movie. The Sony Xperia T is scheduled to launch by next month, and is coming as Xperia TX, in some markets with slightly altered exterior.


Even though the lack of a quad core processor slightly put off the device, but still the 13MP camera, and the stylish design lift the device up to other high end models.
