Verizon Officially Announced Pantech Marauder With Physical Keyboard, 4G LTE & More At A Price Of $49.99
If you are not in tune with the touch screen options, or you are just jumping from a basic phone to a smartphone, Pantech Marauder by Verizon will be a good option for you. The network provider has officially announced the device which will be available from August 2 for a priceof $49.99 with a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
One of the greatest features of the device is its two different modes of operation, Starter Mode and Standard Mode. In the Starter mode the device offers more user-friendly interface, with preset shortcuts to the more important features, and there will only be four home screens with simple, uncluttered lock screen, that delivers “more simplified and intuitive experience.” Once you become familiar with the Starter mode, you can switch to Standard mode that offers the usual Android experience with its fully customizable 7 home screens, and a customizable lock screen with access to your frequently used apps. Also you can switch in between the modes without losing any information.
Oh ya we are yet to enter into the main features of the device. With its low price tag, you may be expecting just basic features from the device, its Ok up to some extent. The Pantech Marauder is not offering any game changing features, but still it's worth a device for the $49.99 you spend. The smartphone delivers a blazing fast speed on the Verizon's 4G LTE network. On the features side the handset sports a 4-inch capacitive touch display, full QWERTY slide-out keyboard, the power of 1.2 GHz dual-core processor along with 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera, microSD support etc.
