Samsung Officially Introduced 10-Inch ATIV Tab With Windows RT, Dual-core processor And More

Apart from the most awaited Samsung Galaxy Note, a number of Windows 8 based devices got official bells at the Samsung's Unpacked event at IFA Berlin. The new Samsung ATIV Tab is one among them and the 10-inch tablet runs on Windows RT OS. Samsung has designed the device for those looking for ultra mobility and measures just 8.9 millimeters and is 570 g heavy only.




The tablet with a classy hairline finish delivers ultimate Windows 8-based PC experience. It offers a 10-inch 1366x768 resolution display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor and the OS Microsoft’s Windows RT is designed to run on devices with ARM chips. ATIV Tab features a 5MP rear camera, a 1.9MP front facing camera, 16GB or 32GB on-board storage and the storage can be further expanded up to 64GB with microSD card, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Channel Bonding, 3.5mm earjack, Micro HDMI, NFC, GPS, and a standard Li-ion 8,200mAh battery. The tablet measures 265.8 x 168.1 x 8.9 mm in dimensions.


Apart from these interesting hardware stuffs, the tablet offers a rich array of softwares. Office Home and Student 2013 RT pre-installed in the tab and also the ATIV Tab offers Microsoft's Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote, that will let you to complete your work even on the go. More than that the tablet is compatible with a range of Windows-based PC devices and accessories, like printers, keyboards, projectors, external monitors. ATIV Tab is also able to handle Metro-style apps from the Windows Store, and also desktop-style apps that have been ported to run on ARM chips.
